SME Envoys Network meeting 21 June 2022

On 21 June, the French Presidency concluded its competitiveness-related work with a conference on SMEs in the Single Market. This conference included a meeting of the SME Envoy which acts as the interface between European SMEs and the Commission. The Envoy's role is to improve the Commission's awareness of the problems facing SMEs. The network continues working on reports detailing the impact of sanctions and high energy costs on European SMEs and will be providing policy recommendations, both related to the current situation and to increase preparedness for future crises.
