Reports show EU rules have some initial positive effects in reducing certain unjustified geo-blocking practices

Today, we published our first review of the 2018 Geo-blocking Regulation, which prohibits unjustified geographical restrictions on the sale of goods and services within the EU. The conclusions show that a number of geo-blocking obstacles have diminished since the introduction of the rule, but there is a need to tackle remaining obstacles.
